ASPE Scholarship Application is Open

Dear ASPE Members,

We are excited to announce that the 2026 ASPE Scholarship application is open! Because of your generous support of the ASPE Scholarship Fund, we are able to provide two scholarships for the 2026 ASPE Annual Conference in St. Louis, Missouri!

Two recipients will receive a complimentary 2026 ASPE Annual Conference registration and a $1,000 travel stipend. Priority will be given to at least one of our members who resides outside of the US and Canada.

The application is live on ASPE’s site and will be open through Friday, February 27.

Selection Process and Timeline:

  • Submissions will be accepted from Tuesday, February 10, through Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
  • Decisions will be communicated the week of March 23, 2026.

Recipients must be able to receive US funds via a check issued by a US bank. No other funding model is available. 

The application will ask you to highlight your professional experiences, how you will apply the ASPE experience to your work, with your colleagues, and to enrich your program’s commitment to standards of best practice. You will also be asked to describe your financial needs including how you will apply the travel stipend and ensure the remaining funding.

After applications close, they will be de-identified by ASPE Headquarters. Board members will review the applications using a rubric and score them related to the components highlighted above. We will compile all the reviews and in partnership with the Executive Committee, will determine the recipients.

The ASPE Fund is a grassroots funding opportunity to support the sustainability of ASPE and foster the growth and enhancement of member benefits.

We will assess the requests of ASPE members through surveys and thoughtfully consider your feedback from the conference evaluations to ensure that the funds are spent responsibly and in a way that advances our mission and supports all of you.
  
Accountability and transparency are key to any fundraising effort. ASPE acknowledges the deep responsibility the organization has to its members and the trust that its members will be putting in us to effectively manage your donations strategically for the benefit of the organization. We will report on both the income generated and the usage or planned usage of the funds to the penny on a quarterly basis.
