How do I attend the Virtual Conference?
After you register online you will receive a link to create your ASPE Virtual Platform account. Please note the following when registering:

Non-Members - The email you register with is the email you need to use to create a profile and log into ASPE's Virtual Platform
Members - Use the same login credentials as your ASPE member account to access the ASPE Virtual Platform.
When is the conference?
The conference will take place August 12 - 14, 2020. All times are listed in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Times may be converted to your local time here
Who can attend?
Anyone from around the world is encourage to participate! To access content and receive your Certificate of Attendance, you must register.
What if I can't attend some of the sessions?
ASPE will provide a mix of pre-recorded and live sessions. Live sessions will also be recorded and saved to the ASPE Virtual Platform. You must register for the conference in order to receive access to the ASPE Virtual Platform.
Can I ask questions during the live sessions?
Live sessions will allow attendees the opportunity to ask the presenter questions

Belinda Fu, MD

Belinda Fu, MD, (@TheImprovDoc) is a family medicine physician, medical educator, and improvisational actor. She is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Washington, Faculty at Swedish Family Medicine Residency–First Hill in Seattle, and Director of The Mayutica Institute, an education and training organization. Dr. Fu is a national leader and innovator in the field of medical improv. She performs improv as an active ensemble member of Seattle Theatresports™.


Gabriel Reedy, PhD

Dr. Reedy is a Reader in Clinical Education in the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine at King’s College London, where he directs the Masters in Clinical Education. He holds a PhD in Cognitive and Educational Psychology from the University of Washington. He is a Chartered Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and is on the Scientific Committee of the Society in Europe for Simulation as Applied to Medicine (SESAM). His research focuses on how healthcare professionals learn and work together, and especially how simulated environments can be used for learning, teaching, and assessment.
