This is the Association of Standardized Patient Educator’s (ASPE) Internet Privacy Statement. Together with the Policy on Collection and Use of Personal Information, this privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for www.aspeducators.org
Information Collection and Use
The ASPE collects information from users of this site and, in general, we will only use the information you provide to us for the purpose for which such information was provided. The ASPE does not sell, share, or rent the information collected from this site to others in ways other than those outlined in this statement. The ASPE collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site. Use of personal information provided by users will include the use by ASPE to improve the site, to provide a more personalized experience for the user and will be used in anonymous or statistical form for research and reporting purposes, but information which identifies a specific individual will not be disclosed to others without the user’s permission unless necessary to provide services which the user has requested. Non-personal demographic and profile data may be used to tailor your experience at our site, and may also be shared with our partners and other entities on an aggregate non-personal basis.

Correction/Updating Personal Information
The ASPE allows a user to modify, correct or delete that user's personally identifiable information changes through the member information page, by email at aspe@aspeducators.org or by phone at (304) 733-4562. We will use reasonable efforts to correct, update or remove that user's personal data from our records, however, to the extent that information is stored in another database, we can not ensure that the correction, update or removal with occur in that database.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post changes on our home page so our users are advised of the information we collect, the ways we use it, and any circumstances under which we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users in a reasonable manner, which may include email.
