Downtown Hilton Nashville
Nashville, Tennessee USA
Hosted by Vanderbilt University
June 4 – One day Immersion Course
June 5 – Pre-conference morning workshops
June 5 – 8 – Conference
Join Standardized Patient Educators from around the world at this exciting meeting set in the heart of Nashville’s music scene. The Downtown Hilton is in the heart of Nashville’s music row and you can feel the energy that lights up this beautiful city.
The program is richer than ever with pre-conference workshops that include topics such as leadership, checklist development & case writing, SP feedback, recruitment and hiring SPs, taking a good history for dry runs, reviewing literature, and how to incorporate SPs into manikin simulation (sponsored by SSH).
Keynote speakers are Jenny Rudolf from the Center for Medical Simulation in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Ann King from the National Board of Medical Examiners. Both of these women have exciting new ideas in SP methodology. Posters, workshops, presentation/discussions and training techniques are among the great sessions you will attend in this 4 day meeting.
On the Saturday prior to the meeting, ASPE will hold their second Immersion Medical Course for SP Educators, Parts 1 & 2 focusing on upgrading the medical knowledge and skills of any SP Educator.
