Palmisano, MD, JD, is the 158th President of the
American Medical Association. In addition to his responsibilities
as AMA President, he is a general and vascular surgeon in private
practice in New Orleans, Clinical Professor of Surgery and
Clinical Professor of Medical Jurisprudence at the Tulane
University School of Medicine, and founder and president of
Intrepid Resources®.
Being both a physician and an attorney, Dr. Palmisano fully
