What is a Meeting Mentor?

A Meeting Mentor is an experienced ASPE member who volunteers to assist a new ASPE member in navigating through their first annual meeting. The meeting mentor will give guidance on the schedule, programs, and meeting norms, as well as introduce the new member to other ASPE colleagues to facilitate networking. If you are interested in being a Meeting Mentor, please indicate this on your registration form. More information about roles and responsibilities will be available closer to the meeting itself.  If you have questions,  contact Mary Cantrell (cantrellmaryj@uams.edu) or Linda Morrison (lmorrison@siumed.edu).

Why would I want a Meeting Mentor?

If you are a new ASPE member or have never attended an ASPE conference, a meeting mentor may be of great advantage to you. A Meeting Mentor can help you navigate through the schedule and will also be available to explain ASPE services and resources, answer questions and introduce you to other ASPE members to facilitate networking.  If you are interested, please check the Meeting Mentor Request box on the registration form.  If you have any questions, you may contact Mary Cantrell (cantrellmaryj@uams.edu) or Linda Morrison (lmorrison@siumed.edu) for more details.
